It is definitely a deviation from the normal anime series and takes after the western cartoon episodes such as kim possible initially. However, as the episodes moves along, the randomness slowly decreases, and the anime moves into the main storyline. Silly actions of Atsuko is a given, and despite having a separate story for each episode, the main storyline moves the series along.
The animation is great, the side characters are well drawn, even if they may only appear for only one episode. The character each have their own goals and are emphasized well, except for certain characters like Diana's partners.
Overall, it is just a simple comedy and remind me of how people tries their hardest to reach their goals and it really is just satisfying to watch. If slice of life is your thing, you might enjoy this series as something different.
