If the concept presented by this anime interested you, I would recommend No Game No Life, that has a similar concept but that was realized way better, and if it was an example of fluid graphics and cool visual effects that got you wanting to try this, please first consider both seasons of Zestiria the X for the VFX or Berserk (2016) for the 3D.
As for the music/sound, pretty much the only part of this show that is decent, I would still recommend Hunter X Hunter over this, or alternatively Kill la Kill if HxH seems like too long of a time investment for you.
I hope this comment helped at least one person avoid this show, or at least make them realize that this isn't what anime is about and that there is way better out there.
Finally, for anyone watching this of their own will and enjoying this anime, good for you. Seriously, there is nothing wrong with liking any anime, regardless of its objective value, anything you enjoy watching is what you should be watching. However, I would like you to consider the points I made earlier about newcomers before giving this a high note or complaining about bad reviews. It's ok to disagree with the majority, but this kind of site has reviews to help people who can't decide whether to watch the show or not and I think that there are enough shows out there for you to find better than this whatever your tastes are.
