This show was..Shocking. i didn't really expect a Great, realistic and Depressing, Thought provoking romance this year but Here it comes, taking place as my favorite romance anime of all time.
Story:10/10, the story is something i never saw before, it focuses on unrequited love and Characters knowing they will never be in the relationship they want, thus having our main characters acting as each others 'Replacement' for the people they love. now personally i never saw an anime with such a plot and Such a depressing way of looking at romance. what's so good about this show is that it allows you to understand that romance isn't all happy and kissing, it shows a depressing side, Amazing story in my opinion.
Art:9/10, the art is very beautiful. everything is very Smooth and the scenery are Very well done, the characters also look outstanding, no complains here.
Sound:9/10,The sound is also Amazing in this series,The opening is very Soothing and the visuals in it are As good as the vocals and music, and the ending done by Sayuri ( ERASED ED ) Is as good as the opening, the OSTS are also one of the best i've heard, no complains here.
Character:10/10, now this is the show's strongest point, it's characters are not cliched, they don't blush when holding hands and they aren't Moe-blobs or bullshit like that, They're realistic characters, Each with his or her own darkness inside him or her, I can't talk about them without spoiling but the characters are all Very very realistic But rather unlikable due to them being 'Scum'.
Enjoyment:9/10,I truly enjoyed this show, it's one of those realistic and amazing Romance out there that you rarely find and it's highly recommended for any mature audience who wants something other than the '10 episodes do nothing but hold hands' Sort of romance. although it can get a little Annoying to see the unlikable characters being even more unlikable, it's part of the show.
Overall:10/10,This show is truly a romance masterpiece and i don't think i'll see something that tops it off. it's unique, Thought provoking, Realistic and mature. highly recommended.
