Also this is my first review so you shouldnt read this unless you are interested about my opinion.
Before the anime aired there was a lot of hype. Even I got onto the hype train.
But it was all for nothing read further to find out why it was an utter disgrace.

So lets start with the story:
I have watched 5 episodes now and I can say the concept is great. You have 2 MC that fight others to get their wish fulfilled kind of like Fate/Stay night where they needed to get the holy grail.
Here we dont know anything about how you actually get it fulfilled. They tell us that after they defeated all other Handshakers you'll meet god. Which I am not sure of if its actually true.
But the bad thing is how bad they handled the story. They don't tell us much about the story and I feel like I'm being left out of the story.
The story keeps repeating itself. They meet some cool people, they get friendly and suddenly they reveal themselves as Handshakers. And this keeps happening over and over.

The Art:
Oh god. Its bad. They tried to make the graphic so good that they sacrificed the framerate. Its like putting graphics to extreme in GTA 5 on a Intel HD Graphics.
They used so bright colorfull colors that my eyes start to hurt after watch half the episode.
These angles they are using are also really annoying. I will really be lucky if I dont end this series with naussea or epilepsy.

The Sound:
The sound is something else I really liked it. Well uhm I would have liked it if it was played in another anime. Since they are playing happy music when its sad and when they are fighting.
The K project, which Handshakers is being compared with was good enough. I liked the music while the fighting and the music style/genre turned when it got serious
But Handshakers is really the worst in this. I really wanted them to get serious with non happy music. But they dont show anything sad. Now Im getting a bit to far onto the Character category but I need to include it in this part. They get thrown into something really big, they are kids HOW do they stay so calm. They lost their normal life and get forced to fight. WHAT is this....

The characters:
Lets just say no character development. Still know nothing about Koyuri and the MC. The MC keeps repeating the word 'Meshing', which is original but really annoying. We got some character development in the first episode but that was it. nothing else.
Koyuri doesnt say a thing. Nothing.

Lets now talk about Enjoyment:
Oh god can I just skip this section??? This was the worst anime that I have seen even the Naruto Shippuden fillers are better than this.
This anime keeps bugging me like hell. Its annoying. And I still regret hyping for this anime. I like that the animation studios dont make things so obvious. The cliches gosh too many to count!.

So overall I'd give this anime a 1 out of respect for the other animes that were bad but not this bad. I'd love if some others animation studios to take over this story and remake it. Because this is too much for me. I hyped myself for this anime as the number one anime from this season. But it was all a lie.

- if you like happy go lucky stories you should like this one too.
- if you like a colorfull color palette you should like this.
- Do you like much bloom and flares in the animation you should like this
- If you like cute boys/girls who shake hands almost the whole time?
There are enough reasons to watch this. Because you won't know it if you'll like it without even trying.
