How i Review things - I will talk through each mark I have given the anime and why i have given the anime that mark. From the Story, Art, Sound, Character and enjoyment of this anime. which in fact are the score prohibited to mark when giving a review on MyAnimeList.
*This is my personal opinion. If you have a different opinion i understand that and im happy to hear your thoughts on it. Please dont take this review to heart if your thoughts on this anime are different*
Story - 9/10 - Where do i begin with the story. The story was very up and down. you could be attached to it and then get bored of it again. However you were always intrigued with the way the anime would finish. The story was very up and down with happy, sad, good and bad moments. With out saying any spoilers the anime ends the way you would have thought it would from the beginning. (And yes i cried)
Art - 8/10 - The art work was very good. i could see the difference in art work to some other anime and with the design of the eyes reminding me of No Game No Life as well it was clear that they put a lot of effort into the art of Plastic Memories. The only reason i have marked it as an 8 is because later on into the anime you can start to notice the art looking a little less sleek. (Which is common in most anime later on into the series).
Sound - 9/10 - The music in Plastic memories is really good and suits the anime well. with the peaceful music at the end of each episode to the amazing opening music before the episode begins. Not to mention the harmony music playing throughout the episodes. it was very well put together.
Character - 8/10 - The characters personality in plastic memories were really something. each character had a story to tell. However i just felt as if not every character was explained enough. There was a few characters that i felt needed to be explained more or have more screen time to help give that boost in the story.
Enjoyment - 9/10 - Although enjoyment is the wrong word for what i am feeling after watching plastic memories, it was very enjoyable with the many happy and although sad scenes it is an anime that you can get into and enjoy even if it leaves you crying at the end of it (like i did) as that is when you know you enjoyed it a lot when it can bring out your emotions.
Overall - 9/10 - I really enjoyed Plastic memories and although i feel that the ending scene was not the sadist thing in the anime it still hit me and i really enjoyed watching it. if you are looking for a really good comedy/romance anime to watch then this is up there. Im happy that it ended the way it did but i wanted to cry more. Im a tough nut to crack when it comes to crying and although ive only cried to 2 other anime before (Clannad and Oriemo - yes oriemo....) it has defiantly touched my heart.
