The Story: The anime managed to keep me interested till the last moment because of the suspense regarding the identity of the main character. Well, it wraps the story up in the last episode in a mildly curious way, but the entire execution of the plot dragged the story out so much that the ending, no matter how decent it was "supposed" to be, just made me want to punch a hole in the wall.
Characters: You have one neko-woman who managed the annoy the living daylights out of me, a samurai wannabe whose character was the only tolerable one, A few "Kings" whose characters are are laughably recycled and uninspiring, a clairvoyant Loli chick, A couple of idiotic sidekicks who try to be gangsta and the list of cliches go on.
The animation was new and lively- one of the reasons why I stuck through to the end. I finally realised how good animation can make you sit through the worst of stories.
In a nutshell, I was left feeling like I fell for one big clickbait, by the end.
