Mixed Feelings
This review is for the entire series (season I & II)

genre: Thriller, Action, Tragedy, Way of life!

It might be strange coming from someone who is giving a 6-point rating.. but this show is totally underrated! many compare this anime with tengen touppa and gundam series. but i haven't seen any of those.. So this story is a original and new for me.

This is one of those shows that has an epic start, but a miserable end. If u r thinking weather or not to watch it, then trust me when I say- it's definitely worth your time! well that is if u can bear with the bad ending (the last episode in season II). It's really good until then.

*mild spoilers*
cons:
-hero is over powered. he's just a normal human like any other. yet, he's the only one who is capable of defeating the enemies.
-the princess's action and behavior is unaccounted for. there is a love triangle and she suddenly abandons her childhood friend, who always cared for her and only lived for her. His feelings never reached her. that's one of the reason why i gave a low rating.
-*spoiler*the hero suddenly betrays trust on this childhood friend(who is later proclaimed as a villain) without a justified reason. Then, Why the hell is he 'the hero'?

pros:
-I learned a lot of science from this anime.. Leidenfrost effect, Meissner effect, etc.
-The battles are quite epic and really intellectual.
-The story line drastically changes on the 2nd season. it was really enjoyable to see how this childhood friend managed every hardship that he faced.

*extreme spoiler*
P.S. this anime could have been a lot better, if they at least tried a little to think of a better ending. Even the death of slain could have been better than imprisoning him and making him live and repent for a crime he is not responsible for..
