Mixed Feelings
(Don't worry, this is spoiler free)

Story 9/10: Personally after finishing the entire Danganronpa franchise the story is absolutely brilliant. At the beginning it seems like an anime version of the Hunger games but there is so much more to it and all the games and anime seasons fit together like a puzzle pieces.

Art 8/10: Out of every anime series I've seen and every manga series I've ever read, I've never seen such an art style ever before. Although there's not too much to it, it most certainly stands out.

Sound 9/10: Something I love about this series is the soundtrack. AND DAT OPENING AND ENDING! I think there was most certainly thought put into it, but I guess the credit shouldn't go to the anime makers because it is from the game. So it only gets a 9/10.

Characters 8/10: Every single one of the characters have very unique personalities causing them all to be memorable. It clearly took a lot of thought to be able to make such a creative cast.

Enjoyment five/10: The biggest disappointment in the Danganronpa anime is the fact that they ignored so much character development, and as someone who watched the anime first and then played the game, I couldn't remember anyone's name. A huge problem was they tried to fit about 2 hours of game play into just 12 episodes, causing so much information to be left in the dirt.

Overall six/10: Danganronpa is a wonderful series, but not as an anime. If you are going to do anything towards this series, play the game. Because Danganronpa The Animation is a perfect example of a bad anime adaptation.
