Ill jump right into it and keep it short:
Story- 8/10
Using the descriptions allowed, this is a 'very good' story for me. It shines well above average.
Aside from what the description already tells you, traveling merchant meets wolf god furry fetish girl. Flirts with her a lot and takes her along with him on his business ventures with the ultimate promise of returning her to her snow clad mountain homeland.
This is a very action driven story, which I hate. Its very well structured, linear and convenient. So far this story would have earned a 6 in my opinion, because while it is very action driven and the romance is a bit cliché and well.. weird, what it has going for it is that its very well executed. Our characters interactions are adorable and the plot progression and pacing are pretty well thought out in my opinion.
Where the plot redeems itself is in the premise, which normally isn't a decisive factor, but as I said I freaking LOVE economics, so here comes the bias. The setting for this story is Europe in the middle ages! Brilliant!
In the history of economics this was a critical time. Mediums of exchange (coins) were commonplace, but barter economics was still going strong. Wars and conflicts gave rise to new forms of currency manipulation, lack of law and order meant that everyone in the business world was literally out to scam and defraud anyone they could at a moments notice. And boy did they have some clever schemes.. The power of the church was growing and ultimately surpassed the power of almost every government in the world, most of whom were bankrupted by their own ambition. Guilds and trading companies and barons and towns allied each other one day and betrayed the same the next as suited their interest. Don't even get me started on the rampant corruption! Literally getting away with murder was a joke, pocket change for any wealthy trader. It was a very dangerous time to be a merchant, and failure meant starvation or worse!
Its a long standing fact that politics and economics are inseparable and the era this story takes place, was one with whacky economics and even wackier politics. As such any story taking place in this period has the potential to reach game of thrones proportions. In short it had me on the edge of my seat at every second. Going into it without any economics or history knowledge may have been tough. But with some quick research one quickly discovers that the reality of the situation left our MC's life in danger at literally any conceivable second. Every meeting could have potentially concluded with him dead in a back alley somewhere. His job was roughly the equivalent of being a professional Mexican drug smuggler in our present day. For this reason it gets a solid 8.
Art- 4/10
it was completely mediocre with poor animation. Next. Holos animation and character design is literally the only saving grace for this. Love the way they utilize her tail to contribute to her body language and portray her mood.
Sound- 6/10
I mean I loved the OP and ED, but I can't really recall this show having a score? Voice acting was good.
Characters- 5/10
Average.. really entertaining to watch but didn't get any development. No supporting characters, side characters were generic.
Enjoyment- 8/10

It was definitely a 'good' anime. It wasn't average, because in my opinion to get average you have to factor in all the TERRIBLE school, moe, crap shows there are out there with all the good ones. Mediocrity is subjective, and while I love anime, and believe there's a lot of good to be found, there's also a whole lot of garbage you have to sift through to find it. It wasn't just 'above average' because it wasn't just a really good moe school crap show. It was definitely in the category of being good and genuinely fun to watch.
People on this site are too quick to rate shows with like 3's and 4's. Doing that to this show is a joke, you're basically saying its worse then watching some absurd magic girl show with the same lack of character development, animation etc that this show had. No. this show is worth watching, just maybe on a rainy day or something.
