However, the story was poor as were the characters themselves. Both were extremely cliche with no uniqueness. The creators did a good job in reaching out to many fans as the characters each embodied major cliches that are, in general, very popular. The main character, unfortunately, was like many other protagonists in reverse harems and was bland with little uniqueness.
In the end, I thought the anime was enjoyable and I had a few laughs from the sudden breaking into songs. Most, if not all, the VA's have good singing so I have no complaints there. I think it's worth a watch because of it's unique musical-like features.

Incidentally, this anime has been turned into an otome game. I think the game will be a success as one does not need to worry about the bland protagonist. The characters may or may not be more developed as will the story.
