Story: I found myself in a love/hate relationship with this show when it came to the story.. As it typically is with most "time traveling" like shows, the plot progression became abysmal in terms of going from point A to point B. However once you make it over that metaphorical hump, the show would pick right back up with wonderful characters and very entertaining developments.
Art/Animation: As for the visual of the show,I absolutely loved the gorgeous backgrounds and model design. The reason I had to give this an 8 comes in with many actions scenes. It seems like half way through the team decided to go a bit lazy with the action animation and that wasn't very appealing to me as it was sprinkled through all the action scene in the show.
Sound/SFX/OST: For the most part I found the voice acting and sound effects really nothing special with most comparable shows. Where I was most dissatisfied was with the Soundtrack, none of them really stood out or caught my ear and none of them had me searching YouTube to listen to it for hours on in.
Characters: This was probably where I felt this show delivered the hardest. At first I was very worried due to how many characters were in this show, however I was pleasantly proven wrong when I found myself loving every single character in the show. They all had a purpose and none of them seemed to be strong armed in there just for shits and giggles. The fact that I actually felt something when any kind of conflict befell any of the character, I believe, speaks volumes.
Overall, I found this to be a pretty enjoyable show. It was definitely worth watching, with an above average plot, beautiful landscapes, pretty average sounds, and AMAZING characters and development for them. I definitely believe that this is a show you should watch, however I don't think this is a show you should buy. I don't think I will be adding this in my "must see again!" pile. But the journey was fun while it lasted. :)
