Yes it has flaws...what show doesnt those flaws are some characters are useless to the story. But for the most part this is a fantastic ride one i am happy to take again. A classic in anime. But as i see some classics have their detractors. And i do get that. I get why some people will hate the ridiculous fan service at points or some bad charactizations but for me i just really enjoyed it and if you like your shows with a deep story that twists and turns along the way the code geass saga really is for you.
