As with most OVA the point isn't for it to have a big plot or follow on from/lead to anything, it's simply for comedy and enjoyment. To put a light ending on the following season.
It did it's job. The OVA is funny and enjoyable to watch. You get the quirks from each character and get to enjoy little things about them and events that are happening.
With some of it you wonder how there's not Ecchi in the genre, because it should definitely be there.
Overall it's worth watching to top of the first season, it's just one episode so it's not much, but it's enough to enjoy.
