Now, before I get into this review I must admit I am probably over exagerating some aspects, including the general score because I have just finished the series and the ending had me cry like 15 minutes. So, yeah. Let's get into the review.

Story: 8/10
Code Geass starts as a lot of animes do and at the begining it seems a bit cliché, not gonna lie. It starts small, but as the story proggresses it scales into a war that will decide the fate of humanity. People falling, others rising, alliances being formed and backs being betrayed. So, good stuff.

Art: 6/10
The art style which is used is....unconventional. Everybody is like a stick. Look for a picture of Lelouch, you'll understand what I mean. As for the backgrounds and other non-human things, the style is fairly average, but still nice.

Sound: 8/10
The openings are a bit inconsistant, in my opinion. The first, third and fifth are great, but the second one and the fourth one are.....not for me. The background music is rather great, though.

Characters: 10/10
In Code Geass, there are a total of 50 episodes. If the characters are not greatly developed within 50 episodes, it would be a big fail. I fell in love with a lot of them. Each one having the same goal, but with different ways to reach it and different perspectives in action is something you'll see a lot.

Overall: 10/10
This is the perfect story, in my opinion. There's enough lore to make it big, but not enough for there to be things left unsolved. There is enough character development for you to fall in love with most if not all characters. The development of the story is complete. Please yourself as you see people fall, rise, how bonds are born and how backs get betrayed. How a man builds a great kingdom for it to fall, and how another has the world in his hand, at least he thinks he has. But what really makes me give this anime a 10/10 and not a 9/10 or an 8/10 as I had originally planned is the ending. It's, in my opinion, the BEST ending I have ever seen. And, as they say: The ending is paramount.

Thanks a lot for reading.
