Re:Zero is an anime with a setting everyone has seen before; A student randomly teleported into a fantasy world, and having the ability of going back in time to a certain "check-point". What this anime excelled in was it's character development for those who mattered within the span of 25 Episodes.

Story and Character:

This anime is a roller-coaster of emotions. Our MC is an ordinary guy who comes from the modern world, who is then randomly transported to a medieval fantasy world with swords and magic. The story was laid out fairly well, with several occasions not getting enough mention (where certain side characters disappeared to, or what happens in a different time) but the focus is always on the main character, in this case: Subaru. You'd see how he thought and the struggles he has gone through in order for him to even stay alive.
In the course of the anime you begin to share his pain in his struggles at every twist and turn. Since is only a 25 episode anime, full details regarding anyone apart from the Main characters were understandably left out.

Art and Sound:
The Art of this Anime is rather average considering the rising quality within the industry, but still has some great action and effects which don't make your head go for a spin. The Soundtracks of Re:Zero like any anime play a big part in storytelling, the music and sounds here being well on queue to help you maintain a connection to the scene presented in front of you.

Final Say:
I overall enjoyed the whole anime, there is no episode apart from the first maybe, which got me to tune out for a single moment. Unsure of whether this series gets a second season or not, it is safe to say they ended off the series fairly well and can come back to finish it at any time.
