I had a blast watching this anime and that is mainly because of how it really lived up to its psychological genre. I haven't seen enough anime that fit the psychological genre enough to critique this particular anime as well as others who have, but I do have to say that it did an amazing job doing so. I enjoyed how they made the protagonist a weakling and how it played into the whole "travel to another world" clique of having intense super powers, but this one, none. This really adds a sense of empathy as well as a very high and apparent sense of relation to how we may feel if we were in the protagonist's shoes. Pfft I'd doubt if you were transported to an alternative world near identical to that of the typical MMO, that you would instantly know what to do. It was highly realistic in that sense that, no, you don't get super duper over powered POWERS right then and there. But yes, of course, this is my opinion -- now to the actual review.

ART - 9/10
I don't know about your guys' standards, but this anime did a good job fulfilling my expectations. Very appealing to the eyes and does a good job maintaining consistency throughout.

SOUND - 7/10
I mainly mark it down because of the lack of "appealing" sounds during action scenes (which I also believe this anime really lacked on). During the beginning of the anime, the sounds were spot on, but as the story progressed, it seems as if they didn't have enough funds to continue it to the end.

CHARACTER - 7/10
Even though I may say that the story was fairly complete in the sense that a conclusion was reached, the protagonist could have been build more. What I mean by this is that, him knowing that he's in an alternative world similar to an MMO, he should take advantage of that. I'd understand if the directors/scriptwriters (I don't know what they're formally called) wanted him to remain a weakling for the continuation of relation from the audience, but they really could have expanded on his character. For heck sake he has the ability to do Shadow magic, at least let him learn more debuffs. He had so much potential to just train himself to get even stronger, but it laid to waste.

STORY - 9/10
There was a lot in this anime, honestly. Of course they wouldn't be able to complete it all with the whopping 25 episodes they provided us and I don't blame them at all. They introduced way too much for the anime to cover it all up in one season and knowing this, I am more than content with how they concluded this season. I was also very surprised with how they implemented little "jump scares" and the amount of gore in the anime just made the psychological genre pop out even more. From start to finish, it was fairly fluid. It lost me at some parts, but I can say that how they formed the story as a whole was very nice.
