Re:Zero Life In Another World From Zero definitely took more of a darker approach than most anime do.

(Story)
The Story was starting out as a cliché RPG, Fantasy genre of anime. But after the first episode I realized that it was starting to drift away from the clichés into something more different. By the end of the anime it almost felt like it wasn't even in the same genre of anime anymore. It turned into more of a drama, romance.

(Art)
The animation and style of the anime was a bit more polished up than other anime. The art style wasn't really mind blowing but it wasn't terrible either.

(Sound)
The openings and endings to the anime are all quite nice and catchy.

(Character)
I definitely think the characters were designed nicely corresponding to each of the character's personalities. Some characters though were never seen again. Such as Felt she was seen from episodes 1-3 and randomly in another episode. The character development was nice and steady not rushed most of the time.

(Enjoyment)
I genuinely enjoyed the anime. From the music to the plot and the characters. It was a very enjoyable anime with a unique plot.

(Overall)
I would definitely recommend this anime to all kinds of anime watchers. I believe that people would like this anime. Definitely could use some work on character development here and there along with bringing some characters back that are rarely seen. It's a good anime but not a masterpiece.
