I know,there are many people who watched the anime but dropped it because they thought :˝this anime is nice,but baseball is not my thing,and I don't get it at all˝. I thought the same thing,but wrong!! I watched about 10 episodes and I was really about to drop it,but I gave it one more chance with 2-3 episodes,just because of the opening. I thought:˝this anime can't be bad with this awesome opening˝. And thanks God I gave it one more chance,it become one of my favourite anime of all time.
It's not just about baseball,I know,baseball is one of the main genres there,but baseball is the thing that connects all the characters there,and it made it so awesome. If you're a fan of romance,drama and flashbacks,you shoud watch Cross Game. It had so many emotional scenes,dramatic and romantic scenes,and in the end ,you will understand some rules of baseball,even though it's not your thing.

The art is not modern,with that loli and moe animation.It has the old anime style (80s and 90s),but just in better quality. I loved the animations. The episodes were always in good quality. So,if you wouldn't watch this anime because of the animation,don't do it,please! You'll get used to it.
Sound:10
Cross Game has an awesome sports and drama slice of life soundtrack!
But it's so bad I can't find the OSTs anywhere,so if anyone knows some page where I can hear them,please tell me ;)
The opening is,like I said ,so good! the endings are also very good,awesome.
Characters:10
The characters are good,with their own character. I really liked Aoba.She's one of my favourite anime slice of life female characters.

At first,it was mostly about baseball,but later everything else is included. I couldn't stop watching,how good it was. It's just,wow.

If you haven't watched Cross Game yet,and you're a fan of sports,romance,drama you definitely shouldn't miss this masterpiece. It's so sad this anime is not more popular,even though it's good ranked on MAL.
I recommend Cross Game with all my heart,to all of you who like sport,drama romance. And if you don't like it at first( because of baseball),don't drop it,give it a chance,at least watch it to episode 15-20 :)
