Ok so this is my first time reviewing so don't hate me, kinda contains spoilers :). Re:Zero is a very good anime with an interesting plot and has some stunning visuals. However the character and world development sucks. Throughout the story many characters and themes are introduced but not developed on, throughout the anime I really only grew attached to Rem and Ram(basically only characters who had their backstory explained) and for quite a bit of the story I hated the main character Subaru. It even got to the point where Emilia dying didn't even faze me. Despite all of that, the amazing sound track and visuals along with some really gripping moments in the anime made it fairly enjoyable. I feel like another season is needed to try and develop the characters so that viewers can actually get emotionally attached to some of the main character*cough* Emilia *cough*. I'd also appreciate if they ever bothered to explain anything about how the royal selection works or wtf is going on with Subaru or why one of the strongest people in the world is conveniently at a meeting whenever something important happens. But yeah despite all these really annoying things I would still recommend you watch this.
