I understand that a lot of you get annoyed by the fact that the MC is just like any other ones in most shoujo animes/mangas that are dense and annoying most of the time, but I think you're not getting the point of the story. It's not about Naho and Kakeru; it's about helping a friend with depression. And we all know how severe depression can be. Yes, Naho sometimes acts dense, insensitive, and stupid, but remember, she's just a highschool student, and you can't expect a highschooler to be the most rational person all the time. I think it's great that this anime shows us how one mistake and how our words can affect a person's whole life. Character development may not be outstanding, but then again, they're young people desperately saving a precious friend. It's good to see friends working together and not giving up to make someone happy. Don't you all feel touched after all that they did for Kakeru?
