Mixed Feelings
This is the title that I had high hopes for. First couple of episodes were engaging, I really loved the art and music wasn't too bad. However, I just feel that potentially great title just died due to poor story choices and characters execution.

Story: 5.
To be honest, all "reborn in the different dimension/world/time" is not all that new, but very few titles based on this setting are good. Basically, the guy is "reborn" in this magic world, and tries to make his new life in this new, such unfriendly place (and find in a hard way that he can just respawn). And right in the beginning, protag became obsessed with girl called Emilia. Barely any reasoning, throughout the series he will keep sniffing around her, and interacting with cliche characters who get attached to him for no reason. And I hate this trend when people force drama out of nothing, right on empty space. I can get why protag might have mental breakdowns, but people around him start screwing and whining for nothing, doing stupid decisions for the sake of drama is outright ridiculous, not Sakurasou pet Kanojo level but very close.

Art: 9.
The quality of image is good here, all looked like drawn with spending decent time on it, I just loved it.

Sound: 7.
OP and ED were ok, soundrack didn't stand out too much and but kept the tone of the show, you won't notice it but it won't distract you either.

Characters: 3.
This is where the big stone and problem of the show lies. Characters are very unlikable. The maid twins are reasonable, the loli magician and Rosewal guy straight up piss you off due to their "accent" and being a distraction with no actual meaning to the plot (anime wouldn't be a pitch different if they were not in show). Emilia is, lets say definitely not the brightest girl and protag Subaru is ruined in so many levels. Main thing that pisses me off, is that he keeps wearing his training suit throughout the show. Dude, you are going to capital, seeing people, trying to impress some. Get some frigging clothes. When he starts screaming about being knight wearing the tracksuit it downright disgusted me. Next point, is that he constantly screams, where he shouldn't (I do not mean death moments here). His love to Emilia is not explained properly, his actions are usually outright stupid, and there is not a single moment in the show where he uses knowledge of his previous life/etc, which is supposed to be the key in these type of titles.

Overall: 5.
I did finish the show, just to see how all of this thing ends, and believe me, the end and the antagonist are like one of the worst ones I have seen. Unfortunately, nice art cant carry bad characters, forced drama and lots of plot holes.
