The most anticipated anime of 2016, Re:Zero gained popularity for various reasons. So what made this series so famous that it was made into different memes?

For one, It's not just a time travel anime. It also mixed in fantasy and magic that it soon established its own world. It delivered a story line that kept us wanting for more, mostly because each episode ended with cliffhangers. Also, it makes sure that every return isn't redundant. Despite having the same timeline over and over again, not one episode is the same.

Now let's get that the real highlight of this show: its characters. At first, Natsuki Subaru comes out as your typical average guy. Well, he is one throughout the whole series, but there's a reason why he's like that. He represented humans, in a way that all men fear, break down and are flawed. Just like Subaru, we're not all perfect. We may live in a fantasy world where all things are possible, but that truth will remain. And it's not a bad thing. Being weak and flawed is just part of being human. It's how we respond to it that matters. And when we do, we see a change in ourselves.

Don't wait until you return by death to change something. You can lead the change yourself. And that's what Re:Zero is all about.
