I view this show as the reverse cocaine. I get hooked, and then somehow want it less and less the more I do it.
Perhaps the producers went:"hmm, we ran out of story for the second half, so let's just expand all the boring stuff and show lots of Rem!"
It worked. I like Rem.
The show will be remember by many people for one female character, and not anything else.
