~Warning I might accidentally let some small spoilers leak so either stop reading or don't complain~
If someone asked me to choose the most stereotypical anime I have ever seen Kill la Kill would be the anime that I give them because it felt like the creators thought to themselves "I want to make a cliche super-hero anime with even more cliche villains with a story that doesn't start to explain things till around episode 15" and that was what they did...
(6) The Story as a whole made sense I guess... Maybe... Kind of... Wait a second! What the f*** did I just watch? I know what happened but the story was so stupid, it explained the key plot points but that doesn't mean it wasn't dumb. My overall opinion of the story is that it well... felt like what I imagined anime story's to be like before I started to watch anime.
(4) Why just why? It wasn't terrible and the animation itself was great but the art was just it was... I got used to it after 6 or so episodes but I will never like this art style. Overall this was just my opinion of the art style everyone has different preferences so who knows you might like it, weirder things have happened.
(8) The sound was good I mean you either do great on the sound or completely bomb and they did great, enough said.
(7) The characters for the most part were generic for a super-hero anime, not bad but not original/unique.
(6) Kill la Kill kept me tuned in and at times had me actually interested in what was happening but nothing more than that.
Overall I give the anime a rating of 6 since while it kept me busy it didn't do much more than that, I would recommend you watch it if you have several hours to spare but don't expect a masterpiece or a good anime.
~On a side note I prefer psychological or anime with complex story's that back everything up with si-fi facts or past events so this anime wasn't made for me at all.~
