Preliminary (16/25 eps)
Well, when I heard that this was going to be an anime, I basically started jumping up and down and hunted the crucial first episode down. 16 episodes later, I haven't been disappointed yet.
The STORY is unlike any others that I've read, but the
ART is truly magnificent. the pure watercolors and steadfast designs are breathtaking. It's basically like the animators took the color illustrations from the manga and animated them.
SOUND: (i guess what they mean is seiyu and music) The opening theme (Kimi Ni Todoke) is such a pretty song, i find myself singing it in the shower. All of the seiyu are very talented and the voices are just like the ones in my head as i read the manga. Ending theme by Chara was lovely at first, but as the series progressed, i found myself getting bored from it.
CHARACTER: this is what attracted me in the first place when i started reading the manga. Kazehaya is friendly and refreshing, Sawako is lovable and adorably innocent, Chizu-chan is hilarious, and Ryu+Pin just add to the bundle.
ENJOYMENT: I'm pretty sure you can guess from the content of the review how much i utterly enjoyed this.
