The setting is alright, it's in the Victorian Era and stuff, story's a little predictable, with Sebastian a little too overpowered, and it's full of yaoi themes that pretty much take away the enjoyment of the show.

This anime can be thrilling at times, but other times it would be annoying, because of all the yaoi fanservice that seems to cater to girls or people interested in yaoi themes. If you're into that stuff, then this anime is for you, but for me, I wouldn't recommend it.

For the character designs, Ciel has the shota-ish kind of ook, and the way he's dressed is provocative for all the yaoi/shotacon fans, and it sorta takes away the essence of the plot sometimes.

As for the music, I don't remember any piece that left a good impression in me, so yeah.
