The story is centered around a young lad in high school who is supposedly at the top of his class. It is said that he studies hard and all of the other classmates envy him and in turn, hate him. He isn't very social with anyone and life goes on, until later into the first day of school. The main character becomes nauseated and runs to the rooftop of the building where he can relax, except that he runs into bullies before reaching the top. Here is where the first supporting character comes in. I won't spoil the rest.
The second and final supporting character keeps the peace between the two, but later down the line causes twists in the plot line.
This anime is about true companionship and leaves a warm, if not fired up, feeling in your heart, even through the hardships happening around the characters.
Okay, we'll begin with the ratings:
Story - 10 - This is the first time that I have marked a slice of life genre with a ten. I was consistently enthralled to continue the story just find out what else is happening in this ordinary life. I mean, does anybody actually say that?
Graphics - 8 - Very well done. Nothing to blow the mind like "Ahh, that was sooo amazing!" or "Woah, I forgot to breathe", but I can say that they were well crafted.
Sound - 10 - I never truly understand Jazz until I watched this anime. Now, I can say that a piece of me is addicted to this new sound.
Characters - 10 - The reasons for the actions of each the main character and two supporting characters are explained through the anime. These three characters are so LIVELY in terms of emotions and motives.
Overall - 10 - Very, very cool slice of life anime. I even took the extra time to lookup songs from the genre and download to my phone.
Recommended: It's quite possible that others will not see this anime as a ten, but this is definitely not an anime that will leave anyone disappointed. The crowd score at this moment in time is around 8.50. I highly recommend.
