The story of B Gata H Kei is about a girl who wants to "bang 100 men." So you can already tell what kind of show this'll be: an ecchi anime for the perverts, comedy anime for those with bad tastes of humor, and a shitty slice of life that nothing ever progresses in until the end where they rush it. The pacing is meh, with every episode having its own little plot because it's episodic. The comedy never gets a proper punchline and the delivery is bad with the voice actors (for english dub watchers.) The jokes are told to be bold and funny because how ridiculous the situation during sex is, normally this would work, but the jokes are more slapstick humor than anything subtle. Instead of NHK's humor, where the Main Character uses a tissue when he finds something arousing, they don't go anywhere with it.
The artstyle is nothing special, but it adds nudity now. So mature, huh?
The sound design is nice and isn't noticeable, especially since this is a comedy.
The characters are bland and they don't get any real development, I can't see a damn change from Takashi. Yamada seems to be getting characterization like normal, but you really dislike her in the show. The ecchi fanservice ruins the pacing, but this is what I asked for so that makes the anime immune to criticism of fanservice now.
I didn't enjoy anything as it had no real motivation to go anywhere. It was just a comedy that never appealed or was funny to me, comedy is subjective so watch the first 3 episodes and see for yourself. But I personally, disliked everything in this anime.
