Just like any Pokemon anime, we have a fucking mediocre Ash exploring the region of Kalos, but this time the writers decided to make Ash more mature and give Ash a better team consisting of Talonflame, Onvern, Hawlucha, Gekkouga, Pikachu, and Goodra. The supporting characters were very interesting, especially towards the end of XY and the first 30 episodes of X,Y, and Z. Episodes dedicated to Serena's character development and storyline were especially a thrill to watch!! But the ending to the Pokemon league arc is shit, just like OLM's Berserk "Gainax" ending. I love how Zygarde's storyline was left with many cliffhangers and suspenseful moments like X,Y, and Z episode 10. Satoshi-Gekkouga is still the shit despite what anyone says about his battle streak at the Kalos League. Other than that, X,Y, and Z is still my favorite season of Pokemon by far.
