This show is a great example of how to build a story with strong romance aspects, supernatural powers, and feels. I've seen many people say this show was bad, or executed poorly, but I would have to disagree. This show's biggest strength is that it is only 13 episodes long. It doesnt drag on and on, or waste your time with events that aren't necessary. The characters are easily some of the most relateable I've ever seen, starting from episode 1. Every character has something to add to the story, or to your enjoyment of the show. Lets break it down.

Story: 8
The story aspect of this show is honestly fairly subjective. If you want to see a show based off of superpowers(That revolves around these powers), this is not the show for you. This show is entirely relationship driven (Platonic relationships mostly). I absolutely loved the way this story progressed, as it introduced just enough outside conflict to keep you invested in Yu's actual battle, while still being entertained by all the different character interactions. The story is fairly generic in it's own right. People have powers, main protagonist has best power, he goes save world. It's simple, but it's also complex enough (Using mechanics introduced halfway into the series) to be relevant after 13 episodes.

Characters: 9
Like I said before, every single character adds to the show. Even the useless filler episodes, such as the baseball game, is interesting enough to keep you watching it while developing both the characters and the plot at the same time. You may like, dislike, or even hate a character for various reasons but they always add something to the episode and the show as a whole.

This show had me tearing up within episodes, which in and of itself is fairly impressive, as it takes a well developed story to have the viewer care about a character after only a few episodes. On top of that, the show manages to blend a darker sadder tone with its happy parts into a show that doesnt leave you dead after watching it.

This is a show that I would recommend to anyone, but especially to those who enjoy romance genre shows. This show isn't about a romantic relationship, but this is how to build a story centering around character relationships. In my opinion, this is nearly perfect in that aspect. The reason this show gets a 9 and not a 10 is that there were a few holes within the super natural aspect of the plot and the plot was a bit generic like I said earlier. Despite this, I think this show is amazing. I hope this helps.
