I had heard so much about the Monogatari Series, and went on an Anime Festival where they showed Kizumonogatari I in a cinema, and I enjoyed it so I decided to watch Bake.

The art is great, and the animation and style are very interesting, as in very unusual. The characters are great, and I can see many people watching the show only because they are really invested in one character (those fanpages about certain chars kinda proof that).

But I felt that the effect of the unusual art and animation wore of after about 5 episodes.
After that it got really tedious for me just to get through it. Even though the conversations are always really interesting, because of the way the show is presented there is just so much downtime, where nothing happens. I ended up even skipping to the dialogue in the end.

I can see that some people enjoy this, but really, there is not really much story here either.
It feels like a nice experiment that was extended to an entire show.

When the dialogue happens the show is at its best, when its funny, you could almost say it's a really slow comedy.

Also, I give a + for the really good music, but at the same time the songs repeat themselves a lot throughout the show.

I think I will actually also Enjoy Kizu II and III, but I can't see me watch another season of the main series. Just some OVAs is fine, but then im saturated with the art effects.
