The intrusion of "everyday life" elements during the battles is indeed funny but the jokes always look the same from one episode to the other. At the end you even don't laugh anymore as it is so repetitive...
Concerning the action, I was also disappointed because it does not occupy a lot of time on screen. And the supernatural is not very present neither as the protagonists are mainly in their human form.
Other negative points include the quickly forgotten soundtrack and the poor character development. Instead of adding new characters every two episodes, they should have more explained the background of all the existing characters. Emi Yusa does not understand the transition of Sadao. We spectators neither. And what about the other demons? It is maybe done on purpose but in my opinion it does not make any sense.
Finally this anime is more a slice of life with easy comedy elements. Although I can't say I didn't enjoy it at all, it will be quickly forgotten. Watch it at 11 pm when you have nothing else to do.
