Koutetsujou no Kabaneri was a very good idea and the first couple of episodes were very good! The art was good but not life changing and I cannot complain about the sound quality or the unforgettable opening song. The part it is most lacking in is character development, sure the main characters got developed a tiny bit but the supporting characters did not get developed at all (I was really hoping there would be some romance). Since it was made by the same people who created Shingeki No Kyoujin it bears a lot of similarities in story and art style but the story is also a lot more rushed than AOT.
