I'm usually down with pretty much any kind of anime, but Orange Road is the most BORING piece of garbage I've seen. I didn't drop it; I fastforwarded through the EPs after EP10 since there is literally NO development whatsoever until the final 2 EPs and the movies. An anime like Orange Road would have been ok if it only had 13 Eps, but nnnnnnnnnnooooooooooo, they just chose to torture their viewers with 40+ eps of the same thing. Additionally, unlike anime that are 2-3 times longer like Ranma 1/2 and Inuyasha, it ISN'T entertaining. Long anime don't bother me at all so long as there's a hook to keep me reeled in. Unfortunately, Orange Road doesn't have that. It's an episodic mess and it made me almost fall asleep.

As mentioned above, there is NO story development. The plot only progresses once you reach the final two EPs and the movies. That's why this should have been a 13 episode anime!

The character designs are fine, but I'm really NOT a fan of its choppy animation. This probably has to do with the anime's age. I'm more so interested in animation made starting from 1990.

Anything other than the voice actors' performances is HORRID. Then again, I'm not a fan of 80s music, so there you go.

The cast of Orange Road all fall into tropes I've seen before. The characters are fine, but their lack of development is precisely what's wrong with this show.
Kyosuke: Indecisive teenager, much like most of the protagonists in harem anime
Madoka: Tsundere.
Hikaru: Affectionate clinger.

I have seen masterpieces, so-so works, and rather bland with nothing out of the ordinary anime, but I've never watched ANYTHING quite like Orange Road. This anime, is practically the most appalling work I've come across, and I will not recommend it to anyone.
