The art was nice, and I guess the fan-service part of the anime was alright too, but that can't even come close to making up for the story/characters. The plot itself is ok, kind of generic, but whatever. The characters, on the other hand, are awful. The only likeable character was the dallahan or whatever he was. His reaction to the main characters was pretty much the only funny parts in the show. Aqua's constant nagging and whining took up a good majority of the actual show, and Darkness literally says the same things over and over again. Megumin's personality was ok, but as a character she was awful, the fact that she is useless after one spell. I get that it's part of the joke, but not when that's the only joke you know. The show overall is pretty much a huge joke and should not be taken seriously at all. There is nothing that really would draw anyone in to watch at all. It doesn't really have anything going for it, it's not engaging, it's not scary, its not interesting, it's not sad or tear jerking, its not really anything, it's kinda there. And yes I know its' a comedy it's not supposed to be scary or sad it's supposed to be funny, but even then it still doesn't even manage to be funny at all. Watching it was a waste of time.
