Nana (Anime) add (All reviews)
Aug 2, 2016
Nana is an anime about the perseverance and determination to chase a dream.
"Don't just give up, Hachiko.
Life is about getting knocked down over and over, but still getting up each time.
If you keep getting up, you win." (Osaki Nana) Osaki Nana and Komatsu meet by fate on a train to Tokyo, and then begin to share their secrets and values and support each other through their romances and in chasing their dreams. The story is extremely relatable and realistic, resonating strongly with young adults. The plot is merticulous and beautifully woven, each character is unique and provides an insight into human nature. Despite the seriousness of the anime, it is able to effectively convey humour which provides relief to the tension. The bittersweet ending provides a well rounded resolution to the anime that leaves the audience feeling satisfied yet sentimental.

This is my all time favourite anime and I definitely recommend it, but the first few episodes are quite slow but dont give up on it.
