I didn't expect much from ReLIFE, since it came out all at once and it didn't have much hype surround it – and time travel shows seem to have become quite popular recently – but it exceeded any expectations I might have had.
This story is genuine, it's kind, it's funny, it's everything one wants to watch in the summer after a long sweltering day out running errands. It resonates with each and every one of us, and that is pretty amazing for such a simple story.
Though the characters are a bit watered down, I felt for every single one of them; the art, though nothing special, fit the story very well; and the simple music was also pretty good.
Overall, this is a show to make you think about your own choices and feel good about them.
