It was the black man in episode 4.
Im a fellow black girl into anime and i always try to watch anime with my people in it that have a positive development or cause. I know the series had to have a few bad guys (since they were stuck in a zombie apocalypse after all) but this character was really over done. Donned with a weed chain and a du rag really reminded me of the black thug stereotype. I couldn't even complete the whole ep since i was kind of turned off from his appearance.
The series had great characters and a pretty good story, but i just couldn't watch anymore after seeing this display.
Having stereotypes like these just fuel my person to make African American characters more diverse and not just a walking one plate person.
I probably overreacted to just cut off a whole series just because of one character display but idk...maybe its just me.
