But first, a few caveats. The animation is beautiful, just beautiful, although the main characters kinda look alike if you remove their hair. But that doesn't matter, that's paltry in comparison with the overall story. It's sad, pulling, heartstring-rending. The Clannad OST is not exactly expansive, but certainly apt. The main character, Okozaki, is one of my favorite characters of anime for his self-improvement and benevolence. He is a good person, unlike the majority of the world today. The characters' respective backstories are very sad at times. I cry to many anime I watch -- is it mature for men to shed tears? -- but Clannad, to Clannad I cried the most. If you want to cry, if you want to feel emotion, then watch Clannad.
