I watched the anime in two days, because I wanted to end it as soon as possible, just to write a comment.
Lol, because of some people saying that "it is like every other anime"
Excuse me, before I write about the anime in detail, I want to make things clear.
So I am the person, who loves to watch war-, mecha-, mystery-, psychologial animes. OF COURSE they are similarities to find, like when you like watching drama, school, romance animes, OF COURSE you can find similarities for example, the attractive boy is really popular among the girls and the poor girls nobody likes... and so on. But can YOU say, that because anime have their similarities, they are bad? No.
So, yes, ERASED does have ONE similiarity with e.g. Steins Gate, just because there is a boy who want's to change the future and past. But it isn't and couldn't and wouldn't be the same.
Story:
I would have said, it is heartbreaking, but it isn't. It is more the tension, which attracted me so much, I couldn't stop watching. I was thinking about the riddle who the murderer could be, and I was half right, half wrong. It was obvious yet so strange and cool.
Character:
Well, loveable! The anime did not show much of them, or where digging in the past of those characters, yet I loved every single of them, and this is a reason why I love the anime so much. It did not take to long to show me, how beautiful it is, it was straight to the point, without babbeling all time.
Art:
What should I say? Because of the art I think I fell in love with the anime. It wasn't as good as the art of the monogatari series but monogatari is much more complicated to analyse. By far every single detail of ERASED could be analysed. Just watch how the eyecolor changes, when someone has a murderous thought.
The Animation was smoothly, even if the character faces by far away weren't as smooth as the rest was.
The art was just stunning.
Sound:
Opening was perfect
The endings wasn't as good as the opening
Soundtracks loveable and rised the tension up
