"Every individual must get the equal rights, aren't they? I red it in your books, Gods. Exactly it is the main principle of democracy"

I am not an anime oldfag, but anyway i watched +-100 titles. You can say, that i don't have a lot of experience to right something about this kind of titles, but i still think, that everyone has a right to express their own opinion.

Ok, i'll start from a little prehistory. Before I watched this anime i was placing 10 for titles, that i enoyed. It could be just an anime, where I found a character I like, but the title was bad or average. But after watching Shinsekai Yori I realized which titles are really the masterpieces, this title opened my eyes. Now i gonna tell you why this title is really awesome.

Pluses:
-Interesting storyline
-Universe without logical holes
-Great musical accompaniment
-Distributed action (if you could call it like that)
-A lot of plot twists, that'll surprise you

Minuses:
-Bad art, even for 2013
-Missed character disclosures
-Endings are really awesome, but there are no openings. I might not call it a minus, but i will.
-A little bit strange start. I will explain a bit later

Story takes place in our world, but 1000 years ago. The society renounced violence, and lives with technologies of 19-20 ceturies with inclusions of modern ones. The main distinction and reason to live this way is the force, which people got. Light falls on the 5 children, who live in this world, which contains a lot of dangers, monsters and another creatures. Contemporaneously we are getting in this world, exploring it and finding out some problems and secrets of it.

Right now there are a lot of animes with unusual worlds, periods and planets. Sometimes they try to hide it, and focus on the storyline. Some of it tries to show it to us, audience, but unfortunately oftenly their universes have a lot of troubles, mistakes and failings. But Shinsekai Yori author's learned on another anime fails and done a colossal job. They focused on storyline, but managed to show us the part of this universe and thought out every simple piece. It is like a glass with double bottom. You can just watch it and follow the main storyline and being blind to everything else. But when you try to get in it watching transforms to real brainstorm. You try to catch some moments and connect all found info to a one united piece.
Along the way anime will awnser your questions and after completing this anime you also would be also satisfied like from solving a big interesting problem.

Also I wanna say, that musical accompaniment is really good. All 2 endings are awesome, I still continue relistening it every day. But also OST's are good. They are always getting to the point, and accompany you unobtrusively all the way.

I placed 10/10 to Shinsekai Yori, but it also have minuses. First and most important is art. It is bad. Really. Characters are painted too simple, sometimes it is ok, but when we see'em from range some features are getting erased and it looks kinda weird. Backrounds in action moments are awful, i can emphasize the moments in mountains in 12-14 chapter, it was drawed like in Paint.

And now we came to the storyline. I already said how big and interesting this universe is. But damn it, how many moments of it was missed in anime. It feels like ypu can do over 100000 more sequels and spin-off's in this universe, and each one would be unique.

And the last minus for today - first chapters. When i watched 1, 2, 3 chapter I said to myself: "what the hell had i watched right now?". As I said, all anime along you get awnsers to questions you've got, but at the start you are only getting questions, and I was a bit disappointed.

After watching whis anime you won't cry, wait a countinue of the story etc. You will just sit on your chair and understand that yeah, it was it. Thanks for reading, i am really glad to know it. And sorry for my language, it is my second one.
