The continuity of Assassination Classroom Season 1. Note that I have not read the manga and will not compare it. Assassination Classroom will be shortened as AC for the rest of the review.

What I enjoy about the anime is the fluidity of the story. While it is somewhat episodic, it does tell a little of the growth of the students for every episode. The second thing I like from AC is the teachings that does not go directly towards the students in the anime, but to us, the viewers as well. It plays well between serious moments and comedic moments. The story is unique, though being a generic school life anime, it doesn't stay that way very long. The second season of AC is where the "feel trip" will start - towards the end of the anime. I was told that it ended where the manga ended, and I think it wrapped up well on episode 24, being episode 25 a slight glimpse to what have happened to the students afterwards.

The characters are probably the disappointment of the anime. Apart of the main 4 characters, Akabane Karma, Shiota Nagisa, Kayano Kaede, and Koro-sensei, none of the other characters are truly fleshed out. Was it due to the number of characters they have? Did they have something from the manga that was not aired out? I do not know. Each one of them have their talents and unique personality, though not quite explored well. I don't think there's a true antagonist to the series, but the lack of antagonist does not affect the story in any way.

Art is decent, not particularly noteworthy of, but is pleasing at best. Each character has their own unique appearance, making it easier to determine each character, and the one character that has similarities to the other was explained in the anime. There's not much to say about this.

The OP of AC is catchy for both seasons, and I like them very much. The lyrics are also related to the story, to my surprise. The use of sound is good. Nothing much to say about this either.

Overall I enjoyed it because it did well in juggling comedic and serious moments. A unique story told through a generic setting, it did well to stand out from the others with the difference of one overpowered character being the teacher and the students are required to kill this character. While the character development is lacking, the story is filled with characters conflict and their ability to overcome it makes it admirable and noteworthy of.
