At first I wanted to give up on the show because the animation style (art) was a bit worse than I am used to as I tend to stick to newer anime and the storyline was a bit slow during the frst two seasons. Despite this, once you hit the third season the animation seems to improve and the story moves along at a nice pace with lots of actions. I love shounen because I enjoy watching action and I despise anything too girly. D. Gray Man is perfect if you love action with a good plot and story line behind it.
