FINALLY! WE'RE DONE! I'm still in awe that I managed to make it through these episodes every week. I deserve a pat on the back, don't I guys? Ok ok. enough will the self praise, and on to the review. This will not be a positive one.

STORY: 3.5/10

One of the only positive parts about Big Order was the potential it had. When it came down to the actual thick and thin, it was really just another 'teenager given power can destroy the world' but despite this, the limitless potential for orders also had given the series limitless potential. Included in that potential though, was limitless chances to screw up, and that's exactly what happened. The plot progresses so fast that 99% of the time you don't know what's happening or why they're even on a mission, it uses fanservice to hide plotholes, and worst of all, the ending was barely satisfactory. They try way too hard to make the series as 'cool' as possible, but since they'd screwed up so badly to begin with, this only made it worse.

ART: 3/10

Calling this artwork bad would be an understatement. I think tragic is probably a more fitting word. I honestly think this aspect is inferior to Mirai Nikki, which was made by the same studio ALMOST FIVE YEARS PRIOR. SERIOUSLY?! I would have thought with the constantly enlarging computer technology would make animation better for every studio. It's almost like they had no idea what they were doing in the production stages and were forced to quickly animate the episodes a day before their release. Though it's not the worst from the season, it's still pathetic.

SOUND: 5.5/10

Just barely becoming a positive aspect for Big Order is the sound. The opening, ending, voice acting and sound effects are all flat out average. Nothing special about them through and through. Thankfully for Big Order, it was blessed with a good soundtrack that made it possible to take the serious scenes seriously. If there wasn't a good soundtrack, it would have been impossible and I think that I probably would have been laughing instead of sighing every time Eji yelled. It's not much, but it helps.

CHARACTER: 1/10

I'll be honest. This is where my bias comes in for shows. As long as they have one character I can relate to or like for some reason, I'll most likely like the show as long as every other part about it isn't completely bad. So I pay special attention to this category. I can tell you, the characters are heartbreakingly bad. The only character even worth mentioning is Kurenai Rin because the rest are just unfinished templates of characters that have no motives and no reason to even exist. Back to Rin, she is the mangaka's attempt to recreate the entire reason Mirai Nikki is popular. No actually, one of the reason's anime in general is popular. As the yandere queen, Yuno Gasai is probably the most famous anime female ever created. Kurenai Rin feels like a desperate attempt to recreate Yuno due to the recent yandere boom on the intemet. She fails spectacularly! She has one or two yandere moments but that's really it. She's closer to a tsundere than a yandere. There isn't a single good character in the entire show.

OVERALL: 3/10

Big Order only exists as a lackluster way to make more money off of Mirai Nikki. It almost makes me think that the author only made this to make Mirai Nikki look better. There is absolutely no reason to watch this, fan of Mirai Nikki or not.
