Mixed Feelings
Story: 3/10
The story had so much potential because of the premise they had in the beginning: The Elite Ten were trying to take over Japan and Eiji was going to be their figurehead/puppet. I thought it was going to be interesting because they would kind of be the bad guys and I like when some anime have the villains as the main characters because I like to see things from their perspective and point of view. The story could've gone in so many good directions, but instead they forget about it in the middle of the series and decide to just focus on saving Sena.
Art: 6/10
The art was okay. I liked the design of the characters. I really liked the designs of the Orders because they all looked unique and badass. Though, the reason I give the art a 6 is because I didn't like how the Orders looked like 3D models.
Sound: 7/10
I really liked the music, especially the opening song. The series did a good job of setting the tone in scenes with the music.
Character: 1/10
The series did a terrible job with the characters. None of them were likable. Eiji's goal was retarded. All he cared about was making the world a place where he and Sena could live in?! Not only is it selfish, but it doesn't make the audience want to root for him. No wonder everyone either uses or tries to kill him. Don't even get me started with the fact that they used incest with Sena and Eiji. I'm not trying to be controversial here, this is just my opinion, but I do not support incest. Rin doesn't even count as a main love interest. In fact, I shipped Eiji/Iyo more than Eiji/Rin. Iyo legitimately liked Eiji while Rin was just trying to seduce him so she can kill him. Just because they kiss once doesn't mean anything. Hiiragi disappointed me. I liked him in the beginning and I liked how they gave him a backstory, but in the end, he was just as selfish as Eiji. I'm going to give the series a pass on not giving backstory on the other members of the Elite Ten since it was only 10 episodes, which is obviously not enough time for character development of every single main character, but I wish they could've at least done Iyo since she got so much screen time. She was interesting and I wish the series would have gone more in depth with her character besides just serving Eiji.
Enjoyment: 4/10
Overall, I didn't hate the series because it had a lot of potential, but there were a lot of things I hated about it.
Final score: 5/10
P.S.: I didn't read the manga, but I have a feeling I would enjoy it more than the anime. I wouldn't recommend this to anybody.
