From "Hoshi no Koe" to "5CMPS" to "GOW",indeed Makoto Shinkai raises his bar with every work and there is no doubt about that.
Although the length of the film was merely 46 minutes but it was enough to leave an impression of how vividly beautiful it was.

The story follows a young aspiring shoemaker who often visits a garden during rainy days, where he had a faithful encounter with a woman and over time their relations deepen, they face difficulties but at the end, they learn something meaningful from each other which change their lives.
As the saying goes love got no boundary, the relation between the young boy and the women was quite exquisite to watch, not many words were spoken but each line holds a special meaning.
There is nothing special in it but the simplicity of the plot with gorgeous animation, art and soundtrack make it somewhat extraordinary,it got one of the best visual effects I've ever seen, from park's natural setting to the trees drooping in the water, each scene was done brilliantly and feels so natural.

I really liked everything about "GOW,from the detailed animation to music to the chemistry between the characters and even the melodramatic ending which was more pleasing than his previous works.

And works like this keep the anime world alive, must see for every anime fan.
