Sword Art Online is a great starting point for anybody to get into Anime with a popular theme and likeable characters but sadly has a lot of flaws that could have turned this okay show into a masterpiece, I'm not going to go into the flaws in this review and instead go into the positives and I've got to say that most of these come from Mothers Rosario, this arc alone managed to keep my rating above average and I'll explain why here.

Yuuki is a great character and when introduced doesn't become part of Kirito's harem (Major problem in the series)

Kirito isn't the most powerful character in all stats

Kirito isn't even the main character! (Brilliant!)

He does provide helpful advice but never carries the squad on his back through every difficulty

Onscreen character development both in game and real life.

All in all, this is a much watch if you are new to anime and if you're already a fan of Anime and haven't watched this (Somehow?) then Mothers Rosario is a good enough reason to watch it on its own.
