Mixed Feelings
I ended this series laughing. Extremely hard. Kind of weird...

I want to make it clear that I loved the series. I also want to make it clear that people who love horrible twist endings should watch this. People who don't, like me, should beware. Then again, I have never enjoyed a horrible ending so much.

It was horrible for the second season's non-specials to end on such an unfulfilling note. The next three episodes, packed with story, were fantastic, because they added so much to season two. The obvious theme of the show had to include closure in its concluding episodes, and the anime certainly included it. It closed the story back where it began. Was I not clear? Full circle. Wasted development. Back to square one. Basically, the entire progress of our protagonist is blasted clear out of the water, after achieving so much distance... It was painful to see, to say the least.

I would have loved a different ending. ANY ending, given that it is told with good-enough story telling. But given the ending that I have, I'll just put up with it and get on with life, laughing at the whole thing.

This review is vague. Just watch the episodes. I recommend them, not because you'll love the ending, but because, given that you watched everything up until these last three episodes, you're stuck with an unfinished story. And you'll certainly be satisfied with everything, except the last five minutes.

If you decide to finish it out, learn to laugh at it. Remember the good times. Don't let five minutes ruin your 32 episodes of enjoyment.
