[Recommended] - Give the first 3 episodes a try!
For a couple of months, I was reluctant to watch the anime since I wasn't attract to the poster, particularly the art of the supporting female character, Murano.
Thank goodness that I gave it a shot in the end! Subsequently, I discovered a great anime.

I like the anime gradually as the plot developed further.
The anime has a few themes, which us as human should be mindful of, such as our interconnected ecosystem and the concept of loving the earth v/s loving yourself.

A well-written tragic story.
Come to think about it, we should always appreciate people around us, who are helpful and kind.
Life is a journey of self discovery - we will learn and develop a lot along the way - change is therefore unavoidable.

Although the art is good, I don't really find it very attractive especially the eyes' shape of Murano. Kana is an exception- it will be great if they swap the role of Kana and Murano.
Nonetheless, the brutal fight scenes are definitely great to watch.
Sound: 9
The ED, "It's The Right Time", is such a good piece. A calm soothing ending song for a brutal anime - at least it makes me feel more reassured at the end of each episode.
I watched the dubbed version and it is great.
Although, sometimes the MC seems to have a bad unnatural husky voice.
Character: 8
Shinichi, the MC, has a great character development. I like how he grew and matured psychologically throughout the process.
Murano, the MC's girlfriend, has quite a bad character or attitude. Her character in the anime is annoying at the very least.
I understand that Murano likes the MC because of his old dorky self but come on if you do not want to accept his changes then leave him alone and stop being so moody and sticky. Kana is the best girl nonetheless.

I do really enjoy the anime. The themes and the plot are very mature and interesting although it might be tragic, brutal and hypocritical.
