This is the best way to do a tragic story without pulling a desu ex machina ("Happy Ending") it's also the most mature way of dealing with the subject of death and those who are left behind i have seen thus far as it's very approachable for a general audience. The story explored quite a few different views of dealing with this matter in the short amount of time it had and wrapped it up very well. Throughout the runtime an undercurrent of bitter sweetness can be felt to the inevitable end.

The art is very pleasing and the character designs beautiful. The sound design was great, fitting the atmosphere of the show very well.

Overall i think it is a masterpiece for this type of story setting in my opinion and i had a great time.
